> how the room works, how the money moves, and how you can check we are dealing straight.
solpoker.club is a no-limit hold'em tournament room settled in SOL. You never connect a browser wallet: your account gets its own Solana address, you send SOL to it from anywhere, and it becomes your balance. Buy into events from that balance, win, and withdraw to any Solana address you choose.
- Open the cashier and copy your deposit address.
- Send SOL to it from a wallet or an exchange. Once the transfer is confirmed it is swept into the house wallet and credited to you.
- Register for an event in the lobby. The buy-in and fee leave your balance the moment you register and come straight back if you unregister before the start.
- Play. Prizes land in your balance as soon as you finish, including bounties.
- Withdraw to any address. Payouts are sent from the house wallet within seconds.
Each account owns a dedicated deposit address generated by the house. The private key for that address is encrypted with a master key that exists only inside the server environment and is never written to disk in plain text. The house holds funds in a hot wallet that pays withdrawals.
- Deposits: anything above 0.0001 SOL at your address is swept and credited. One network fee (0.000005 SOL) per sweep is paid by the house, so you are credited the full amount you sent minus that fee.
- Withdrawals: minimum 0.005 SOL, maximum 1 SOL per request while we are on devnet. Enter any valid Solana address. Your balance is debited when the transfer is broadcast and restored automatically if the chain rejects it.
- Ledger: every balance change is a double-entry journal: deposits, buy-ins, fees, refunds, prizes, bounties, satellite seats, withdrawals. The books must sum to zero per currency at all times, and the server refuses any entry that would break that.
- Identity: your account is tied to a token stored in your browser. Email and passkey recovery are the next account feature; until then, use the same browser or export nothing you cannot afford to lose on devnet.
Buy-ins are shown as buy-in + fee. The buy-in goes entirely to the prize pool (or is split with the bounty pool in PKO events); the fee is the house rake, 10% of the buy-in.
| event | buy-in | format | when |
|---|---|---|---|
| SOL TURBO | 0.1 + 0.01 | 6-max freezeout, hyper levels | every 15 minutes |
| SOL PKO | 0.5 + 0.05 | 6-max progressive knockout, 1 re-entry | every 30 minutes |
| SATELLITE | 0.1 + 0.01 | seats to the Daily Main, unlimited re-entry | every hour |
| FREEROLL | free | 0.1 house-funded pool | every hour |
| SOL DAILY MAIN | 1 + 0.1 | 9-max, 2 re-entries, synchronized breaks | 18:00 and 02:00 UTC |
| SIT & GO 6-MAX | 0.1 + 0.01 | single table, 1,500 chips, hyper | starts when 6 seats fill |
| HEADS-UP | 0.2 + 0.02 | one on one, winner takes all | starts when 2 seats fill |
| SIT & GO 9-MAX | 0.5 + 0.05 | single table, 1,500 chips, turbo | starts when 9 seats fill |
- Registration opens before the start (15 minutes to 24 hours depending on the event) and stays open through late registration, which runs through a fixed number of levels.
- Re-entry is only possible while late registration is open and only after you have busted. Each re-entry is a fresh buy-in and a fresh starting stack.
- Sit & Go: no start time. One table per format is always open; it begins the moment the last seat is taken and a fresh one opens behind it. No late registration or re-entry. Payouts: heads-up winner takes all, 6-max 65/35, 9-max 50/30/20.
- Cancellation: if a scheduled event does not reach two players at start time, everyone is refunded in full, fee included.
Prize pools are paid to roughly the top 15% of the field, with a floor of one place in tiny fields and a curve that keeps first place between 25% and 35% of the pool. Payouts are shown live in the lobby and at the table, and they are recomputed as entries come in during late registration.
| entries | places paid | 1st (approx) |
|---|---|---|
| 2 to 5 | 1 | 100% |
| 6 to 9 | 2 | 69% |
| 10 to 17 | 3 | 58% |
| 18 to 26 | 4 | 52% |
| 27+ | 15% of the field (min 5) | 48% at 5 places, falling to about 30% at 27 places |
- Progressive knockout (PKO): half of each buy-in is the player's bounty. When you eliminate someone you collect half of their bounty in SOL immediately and the other half is added to your own head. If several players win chips from the same bust-out, the bounty is split in proportion to the chips won. The winner collects their own bounty at the end.
- Satellites: the prize pool buys as many seats to the target event as it can (seat value = target buy-in + fee). The satellite ends when the field is down to the number of seats; everyone left gets a ticket, and any leftover cash goes to the next finisher. Tickets are applied automatically when you register for the target.
- Freerolls: no buy-in, the house funds the pool. Same payout curve.
- Guarantees: when an event carries a guarantee and buy-ins fall short, the house covers the difference.
- Prize money is backed: every prize pool, bounty pool and outstanding satellite seat counts as a liability on the reserves page. If the house wallet ever holds less than it owes, SOL registrations pause automatically until it is topped up, so a prize is never promised that cannot be paid.
- Ties and dust: split pots go to the tied hands equally, odd chips to the first seat left of the button. Rounding dust in prize pools goes to first place, so paid prizes always sum exactly to the pool.
Scheduled events start 100 big blinds deep; Sit & Gos start at 75. Levels follow a standard ladder (50/100, 75/150, 100/200, 150/300, 200/400, 300/600 and on). A big-blind ante equal to the big blind starts at level 3. Level length depends on the event speed.
| speed | level length |
|---|---|
| hyper | 3 minutes |
| turbo | 5 minutes |
| regular | 10 minutes |
| deepstack | 12 minutes |
- Timing: 15 seconds to act. If you disconnect you are checked or folded within 1.5 seconds so the table never waits on a dead seat.
- Breaks: events that run breaks pause all tables together at the end of a level; the clock stops during the break.
- Table balancing: tables stay within one player of each other. Players are moved between hands, and tables are broken as the field shrinks. The structure sheet is visible at the table under "tiers".
- Bubble: when one elimination separates the field from the money, all tables play hand-for-hand until it bursts.
Hands are dealt by the server, never by a client, from a Fisher–Yates shuffle driven by a cryptographically secure random source. No client ever receives another player's hole cards before showdown, and every action is validated against the rules engine before it changes the hand.
Provable shuffles (commit-reveal), live: before a tournament starts, the server generates a secret seed and shows its SHA-256 hash at the table and in the lobby. Every deck in that tournament is derived from that seed and the hand number. When the tournament ends the seed is revealed. The verify page fetches the public hand history, recomputes every deck in your browser, and confirms the board and every shown hand match a shuffle that was fixed before the first card was dealt. The derivation code is in the open rng package.
- Rules engine: the hand evaluator is checked against brute force over every 5-card combination, and the betting engine is fuzzed over hundreds of random hands to prove chips are never created or destroyed. Tournaments are simulated end to end with 180-player fields to prove payouts always equal the pool.
- Money: the double-entry ledger and the chain agree by construction: every deposit and withdrawal is a signed Solana transaction you can look up on the explorer from your cashier history. The proof of reserves page compares the house wallet balance on chain with everything owed to players, live.
- Certification: an independent RNG certification (iTech Labs or GLI) is part of the licensing work before real-money launch.
A poker room is only worth playing in if the other seats are humans playing their own hands. Here is what is live today and what is coming before launch.
- Server authority (live): the client is a display. Every action is validated server-side; there is no way to act out of turn, bet more than you have, or see hidden cards.
- Action timers and rate limits (live): a fixed action clock, chat and cashier throttles, and automatic folding of disconnected seats.
- Practice bots are labelled (live): while the room is in testing, house bots fill fields so events run. They are marked "bot" at the table, play with house money, and will be switched off for launch.
- Device and network fingerprinting (planned): linked accounts are kept off the same table, and multi-accounting is flagged for review.
- Collusion and chip-dumping detection (planned): hand-level heuristics on who folds to whom, unusual all-in patterns between the same accounts, and transfers of chips that only make sense if two seats share a wallet.
- No HUDs or seat scripting (policy): third-party tools that read the table or act for you are prohibited; detected automation is removed and funds are frozen pending review.
- Anonymous tables (planned): tournament seating under screen names only, with no persistent opponent tracking.
- No wallet pop-ups. Deposit from an exchange if you like. Withdraw to anywhere. No approvals, no gas prompts mid-hand.
- Instant settlement. Prizes are in your balance the second the tournament ends, and withdrawals are on chain in seconds, not days.
- Real structures. Progressive knockouts, satellites that feed a daily main, freerolls, synchronized breaks, hand-for-hand bubbles: the formats players actually want, not a single cash table.
- Verifiable dealing. Commit-reveal shuffles mean you don't take our word for it.
- Low rake, flat and visible. 10% of the buy-in, shown next to every event, nothing hidden in the prize pool.
- Built for the phone. Portrait table, one-thumb action bar, pre-actions like call any so you can play between other things.
- Network: devnet. All SOL here is test SOL with no value. Fund your deposit address from a devnet faucet. Mainnet follows the gaming license.
- Withdrawals: 0.005 SOL minimum, 1 SOL per request on devnet.
- Age and jurisdiction: 18+ only. Before real money, geo-restrictions and identity checks at withdrawal thresholds apply in line with the license.
- Responsible play: deposit limits, cool-off and self-exclusion controls ship with the real-money release.
